Why is it bad that someone is talented and grew up in the church?

PLEASE FIX THE ERRORS: I see that the factual errors in the column have not been corrected yet. No one will take the columnist's analysis seriously if the facts of the column are so obviously off. For the record, again, in the fourth graff, President Clinton DID NOT VETO two welfare reform bills before the elections of 1994. Clinton's first veto was in June 1995. And Clinton did not mention the Contract with America or "brag(ged) about signing into law 14 items that had been in the Republican "Contract with America" in his speech to the 1996 DemNat Convention, which is here: http://www.4president.org/speeches/clintongore1996convention.htm Tony was around during this time, and is probably thinking of a different Clinton speech, so...

Please correct the errors in the fourth paragraph, which is entirely wrong on the facts. President Clinton didn't veto two GOP welfare reform bills before the election of 1994. Clinton's very FIRST veto came in June 1995. Also, the Contract with America wasn't mentioned at all in the President's 1996 Convention speech, the text of which is linked here: http://www.4president.org/speeches/clintongore1996convention.htm I'm not sure where Mr. Blankley gets the idea that the President bragged about adopting 14 items that were in the Contract with America, because he just didn't do that. Please post these corrections as soon as possible. It is after 5 pm in the East, but I believe Google is still open. :-)
