He was right about one thing. Islam has been a part of our history for a long time. Do you remember the lyrics to the Marine Corps song? "From the Halls of Montezuma to the SHORES OF TRIPOLI..." Yes, Islam has been part of our history since we had to find Muslim pirates (terrorists) from very early on in our history. The only way that we got these Muslim terrorists to leave us alone was to defeat them decisively. Time to teach them that lesson again. I kind of think that the war against the Barbary Pirates wasn't exactly what Obama had in mind though...
