It is a political reality that the Senate would block measures to remove Obama... but there are times when political expediency has to come in second to doing the right thing. This is one of those times. If the GOP had any principles, every single legislator in that party ought to be raising h*ll over this issue on a daily basis, come what may and regardless of partisan politics. Today Americans will witness an extraordinarily rare event.

The president will sign a bill that originated in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, the Jumpstart Our Business Startup Act.

Sadly, it is almost unheard of for Obama, who ran in 2008 on post-partisanship, to actually engage in such bipartisanship for the good of the economy. House Republicans have passed 27 other jobs bills (with some Democratic support) that Senate Democrats and the president have ignored.
