EveronesMis-statementof Fact lies... "The War on Poverty among other factors reduced poverty to about 10% by the middle of the 1970s." ________________________________________________ Fifteen TRILLION dollars That’s how much American taxpayers have forked over in the name of helping the poor since 1964. And what do we have to show for it? A poverty rate that has barely budged, an entrenched bureaucracy, and a population addicted to inter-generational "entitlements". The poverty rate has risen to 15.1 percent of Americans, despite the mass amount of government funding. Debunked Commie Prog lie.

Moreover, there is absolutely NO discernable connection between war on poverty programs and reduction in poverty by any percentage. All of the 10% the ninny is on about is easily more attributable to the expansion of the post war economy and free enterprise ... you know ... capitalism and liberty.

The rate is now over 16% after $15 trillion in spending, Crawfish.

Most college students and young married couples make up the population that live in poverty. They have no plans to say there and will not.

EXACTLY ... liberty raises income ... the war on poverty is a war to keep the poor poor enough to vote for Dems

Liberals ignored my book Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama throughout the fall. Now that I'm safely home from my book tour, they feel free to jabber on about their make-believe history of the civil rights movement with abandon.

In the hackiest of all hacky articles, Sam Tanenhaus, the man responsible for ruining The New York Times Book Review, has written a cover story in The New Republic, titled: "Original Sin: Why the GOP is and will continue to be the party of white people."
