Stand Your Ground, America

I'm anxious for the trial to start for Zimmerman. That way ..ALL the truth comes out..under oath. We'll get the real picture of Trayvon & Zimmerman. I'm tired of that picture they've been plastering on all the magazines. It is a wonderful picture of what looks like an innocent boy who wouldn't hurt anyone. Only after the fact, do we find that is several years old..and he's been kicked out of school for drug possession & stolen property. NBC & ABC should be hauled before the FCC for editting the 911 call. & police video. This has been a circus ever since Sharpton & Jackson came on the scene. Stand your ground? You'd better believe it.

The whole charge will be dropped in discovery. The prosecutor who charged him should be disbarred as she is clearly an incompetent boob.

Except that Trayvon's prior incident of being caught at school with a burglar tool and womens jewelry of dubious ownership will NOT be discussed in court, since the school officials BLEW IT and did not call police to investigate and check if the jewelry was stolen,so Trayvon skated, did not get the incident on his record.

That "evidence" is irrelevant.

It is not irrelevent in the court of public opinion which is the court that al and jesse have set up.

As if "conservatives" aren't setting up the same court of public opinion.

No it isn't. It goes to character.
Donjindra Wrote: Apr 20, 2012 6:52 PM
I agree it's about character -- Zimmerman's lack of it, or temporary loss of it. A person of character would have never put himself in that situation in the first place.

He was attacked by a wannabe thug, who thought that Zimmerman was an easy mark who he could attack, He attacked and was put down. There was nothing to stop Trayvon from walking away.
Donjindra Wrote: Apr 21, 2012 10:52 AM
There was probably a gun pointing at him. He was probably told he couldn't walk away. Zimmerman knew Martin was heading towards the rear exit and decided he had to act. He didn't know Martin had no intention of exiting. He was going to his father's townhouse inside the complex which just happened to be near that exit.

Zimmerman could have walked away at any moment. He was the one "following". Your spin is laughable.

Zimmerman's story simply doesn't wash.

How do you stand your ground if you are lying on your back getting pummeled in the face?

That one question alone shows that Stand Your Ground laws are not at issue in the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin controversy. But the tragic death of young Trayvon is only seen by those on the left as a valuable media opportunity to further exploit the millions of gullible Americans to advance the left's political interests and agenda. Indeed, we have some people in positions of influence, both leading politicians and figures in the major media, who see their interest as exploiting the death to...
