It is August 1st in Texas, and it was 68 degrees and raining when I drove to work. And remember, this is the kind of weather that the Democrats complain about. And these same people who complain about 68 degree August weather are the same ones that are driving Amnesty issue. If they think that 68 degrees in August is a bad thing, then there is no reasoning with them about Amnesty.
Can you imagine how much money we could save by going ahead and admitting that President Obama has rendered the House and Senate irrelevant? Let's just do away with them; they have absolutely no moral aptitude to thwart a lawless president.
The Republican Establishment's plan to reduce the flow of illegal immigrants is to have fewer voter registrars at the border.
And then our Single Payer program will be as efficient as the VA. This Obamacare and Immigration debacle has made for some strange bedfellows. But I guess with Obama's social policies, "strange bedfellows" is a rather obsolete term.
LA Times reports that illegal immigrants have the right to work in the United States. So after the Democrats have fought Right to Work laws for decades, now they have bought off on Right to Work Nation. I guess I go that backwards: someone else bought it; the Democrats are the ones who gotpaid for it. Did the unions sign off on this? What about those who have lost their jobs due to Obamacare? Don't they have a right to work? Or does this only work for those willing to work for less?
It ought to be harder to get into the United States from Mexico than it is to get on an airplane at the airport. We're not there yet, but I think that is the direction we should be moving. We might try putting TSA on the Mexican boarder. I imagine they would get a kick out of patting down all these children.
I guess you just have to read the law to tell what's in it.
I still think the best way to handle immigration is to make it as difficult to enter the United States as it is to get on an airplane at an American airport. We are not there yet, but I think that is the direction we should be moving.
I really don't think that we are asking a lot with regard to immigration. We simply want it to be as hard to enter the United States as it is to get on a commercial plane at DFW Airport. That is certainly not the case at present, but is that really too much to ask?
