The Daily Mail is usually a very reliable and moral publication. It is possible that there has been a mistake here however. The city of Liverpool has a population of around 500,000. If the Liverpool Care Pathway polishes off 130,000 people p.a., Liverpool would be rendered a ghost town in under 5 years. Possibly that would be no bad thing, but the figures do not add up.
