Sorry Frank. The Constitution was created by the states. You quoted "We the People" it continues "of the United States." This country was never intended to be a democracy. It is a republic. I would invite you to go back and read the history of the founding of this nation. At no time did the founders want a democracy. They feared it almost as much as they feared a king.
