Buffett Boosts Own Morale with Hypocrisy

Why is there all this "punish the rich" comments here? That does not seem to be the appropriate reaction to an article about Buffet's hypocrisy. It seems that even people here have fallen into the Dems trap of class warfare. Even if the rich are taxed like the Dems want, the deficit is hardly dented. Where is the rest of the money going to come from? They are just going to keep going down the income scale unless spending gets under control. It is just math, as Obama likes to say.

"It is just math, as Obama likes to say."

Unfortunately, Obama has admitted that he can't do math.

Neither can any other Democrats. Why else would they continue to insist that raising taxes and leaving companies and people with *less* money is going to stimulate consumer spending and produce more jobs?

The government revised upward its initial reading of third quarter GDP from 2 percent to 2.7 percent in a move that was widely expected by economists.

And everyone said “yawn.”

That’s because the GDP growth was more government puffery. The increase was borrowed or freshly minted money. The government merely accelerated spending, filing one hole, while digging another- deeper- hole, in Obama’s latest 60-year-same-as-cash financing offer.

At least that’s what the markets have felt apparently- reacting with shrug to another wave of “good” news coming out of the government about how great things are for the folks back...
