Hispanic culture is not good. Illegal foreign nationals have moved into my formerly quiet neighborhood, and now EVERY evening and EVERY weekend from noon - midnight or after, they are booming out their screechy mariachi music. I don't want to hear this noise - but the sherrif dept is completely impotent to stop them. Would not even come out until I advised them that I was going to speak with these mexicans myself - there were TWO cop cars here within 10 minutes!!!!!! It's sickening.

As President Obama begins his second term, it seems he intends to make good on campaign promises to reform American immigration policy. The New York Times reports today that the president and his fellow Democrats in the Senate are seeking to create a giant omnibus bill that would remake the entire system.
