As usual, General Macarthur's statement is correct, the U.S. (especially the politicians) has entered wars with no thought of winning, just stalemating the enemy. Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan are examples of lack of will. We had the means to conquer these enemies in months, instead we stalemated these wars with a lack of will.
