The Bush41 administration got in some points of its own by encouraging Shia rebellion against Husein and implying the great invertebrate American voters would have their back. What they got was massacred.

We should probably also recognize establishment of a huge bureaucratic network "needed" to carry out the administration of these programs. They proved to be not very sophisticated in their forms and functions, and they took on the necessary measures to perpetuate themselves - which include continuing reassurance they would be needed for at least as long as it took to rise in the ranks and retire. So, in addition to the debauchery of the patronized, we got an army of professional patrons whose primary mission should always have been to make their agencies obsolete !
According to Giles, then, Al quaeda nor any totalitarian, is Slothful ? Must be the way to go.
I agree completely. A public flogging would be a nice addition to disbarment for this creepy persecutor. A hundred stripes would be about right.

By all the evidence I know of, Obama's entire purpose has been to " inflict a lasting wound on the country as a whole." By his own measure, he is already among the most "successful" presidents.
Andrew Jackson did some of his own nullification when he refused to enforce the Supreme Court decision regarding the rights of the five civilized tribes and set the stage for the disgraceful Trail of Tears episodes. His role in exaggerating state's rights over Federal commitments by treaty probably set our compass directly to entrenched slavery, seccession and the civil war. To hell with Jackson.
The vast majority of our greatly overpaid "conservative" representatives appear to be boobs in the woods and unfit for combat. Scarcely any of them show evidence of ever having read the Federalist Papers or Anti-Federalist Papers, let alone Lenin, Hitler, Alinsky or Sun Tzu and are easily blindsided by every radical gimmick that comes along. The guerilla strategy and tactics of the opposition call for subterranean disruption that does not come easily to half-educated Harvard lawyers. Limbaugh and Hannity are great front men .. but only for battle tactics employed by the Redcoats in 1776. Republicans must develop a new ground level style of domestic warfare.
