The government has never confiscated guns. Never, ever ever. Not so fast. If he can't legislate, he'll probably try to do it by EO. And yes, there are a bunch of dimwitted, members of law enforcement and military that will blindly follows the orders of those appointed above them and forget about that "swearing thing" and defending that whole Constitution thing. Sure, it'll never happen.

Don't expect confiscation - expect something more "legal" like an insanely high weapons tax along the lines of $2,500 per weapon and retroactive back to 2008. That way the president can hypocritically mouth the words "I support the 2nd Amendment" while committing a financial massacre against all the conservative gun owners in the country. Face it - what's easier and what would help Democrats more: outright confiscation and all its constitutional challenges, OR a tax so large it would force you to turn in your own weapons and financially break you so you'd have no money to fund non-Democrat candidates for many years if ever again?

That is a very interesting video. Anyone that had their gun confiscated should sue to set a precedence to avoid future confiscations. That was illegal.

Last week during a radio interview, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said gun confiscation was on the table as a way to prevent the next mass shooting. He also said mandatory gun buybacks were an option, which is basically the government paying people to confiscate their guns. Michelle Malkin discussed Cuomo's hypocritical and dangerous plans last night on Hannity. She also touches on Senator Diane Feinstein's plans to re-introduce gun control legislation in January.
