The problem is progressive utopia....the breakdown of the family and parents not recognizing they are to be partners with the teacher, both aiming for high achievement. However, since public schools do not compete for their students, the standards are not always high. Teacher's unions that protect bad teachers is a large reason. Middleton, Wisconsin could not even fire a teacher for having porn on his school computer. My son has had lousy teachers even other teachers wanted him fired, but no hope with the union protection. Create competition by allowing parents to choose their school with full taxpayer support. We don't tell persons receiving Food Stamps where to buy their food based on their zip code. Medicaid not based on zip code.

The question should be "Is the fertilized egg a human?" If yes, then it should be protected. The only difference between a day old fertilized egg and a 9 month old fertilized egg is 1) size...being smaller does not make you less human 2) dependency on a uterus ....there are many humans dependant on insulin....that does not make them less human 3) level of development....having a higher IQ does not make you more human, thus a lesser level of development does not make you less human..think autism 4)environment....why would a fertilized egg in the uterus not be human, while the same fertilized egg traveled thru the birth canal is human? Where you are should not determine if you are human. The fertilized egg is human and deserves protection

http://bcove.me/mdwhcx6m Watch this video to see the destruction of rural communities and family farms with an inheritance tax. I challenge you to defend the inheritance tax after watching this. Prov 13:22

The inheritance tax hits small business and family farms the hardest. Family farms are about 500 acres valued at $8,000 -$ 15,000 per acre is minimum $4 Million in land assets, plus machinery with a combine at $250,000, tractors at $125,000, etc. Are they the people you intend to hurt with the inheritance tax? They feed America, yet you believe that they don't deserve to hand down to the next generation, but instead confiscate over 50% which will require the sale of the land. If you want more corporate farms, then inflict the inheritance tax so that they are all gone in one generation.
A taxpayer who votes for Barak Obama is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.
So stock ownership which provides the money for current jobs and future growth is bad (ie...sitting on their rear ends doing nothing). I ask "Where did the investor get the money in the first place?" Yes...We worked, saved rather than bought the big screen TV, and invested so we could have a better future. Delayed gratification.....try it sometime.

Rahm to Sue Chicago Teachers

Rahm - Offer to take back any teacher that crosses the line, then fire the rest. Start over with teachers that will work to better outcomes for students. All students can learn. Read Tony Dungy's autobiography....He talks about his parents' philosophy as teachers....All students will learn. Chicago parents - demand better education, better outcomes from your city. Bring in KIPP founders.....Their programs in inner city schools have yielded outcomes that exceed subarbs. The only thing that is different is the teacher's commitment to their students.
