Black Families Hurt by Magazine's War on Conservatives

In addition to that, how many times did you see either of these brilliantly minded gentlemen appear on Fox News programming during the entire cycle. I saw Dr. Sowell on Hannity once, but as usual Hannity couldn't stop interrupting in order to cover his own agenda long enough to allow Dr. Sowell to make the points he wanted to make. Even after the election loss, Republicans spoke only of what they need to do in the future to garner the Hispanic and young female vote! Such stupidity is going to continue to reap the same results.

Blacks votes for Obama 95%-5%. Whites voted for Romney 59%-41%. It's BLACKS who put Obama in the White House and it's blacks who kept him there. The problem is not our lack of outreach. It's the lack of whites in this country -- and our gutless refusal to fight mass immigration or affirmative action.

We've been reaching out to the blacks for over four decades, ever since Nixon. It has availed us nothing. How about instead reaching out to the white vote -- you know, our natural base? And, for once, let's stop worrying about whether we're going to be called a "racist." Trust me. We're going to be called that, no matter how good our behavior is.

Maybe not. Republicans likely will be unable to acquire a fair proportion of the black vote until this country disintegrates and is re-formed. Therefore, the emphasis on hispanics and young female voters is appropriate. Blacks do not recognize that Obama could never have been elected without the WHITE vote. Liberals have done a great job of trading Republicans' money for votes.

Dear Ebony,

I do not have high hopes, given the way Ebony treats black non-liberals, that you will review my new book, "Dear Father, Dear Son: Two Lives, Eight Hours." It is, in the end, about the importance of fathers -- and the damage done to a child who grows up without one.

Why do I know you will ignore my book despite its examination of the most important issue facing "black America"? Your magazine treats black conservatives as if they were the enemy, that they bring nothing valid to the discussion.

Ebony magazine, a monthly staple of American black life...
