Should the GOP Bail Out Obamacare?

Let Barhamacare hang around all the responsible party's necks until 2014 and beyond. Barhamacare was pushed and shoved into place by demon rats and then protected by RINOs alike. Obviously Barhama's re-election just over 1 year ago was supported by rabid demon rats, the young generation with skulls full of mush, low information voters of advanced ages, and liberty haters of all labels. Tea Party stalwarts like Senator Cruz sounded the alarm and tried to get this train wreck postponed or amended but .... Y'all know how fiercely the demon rats fought against ANY CHANGES, just 2 months ago. The Federal monstrosity was shut down (allegedly) for a short short, but not a nickel was cut out of the spending, and Barhamacare survived intact. Did I mention that this happened 2 months ago ? Demon rats own this baby, and their mindless supporters should have the opportunity to experience the fruits of socialism. Let young demon rats pay for the bills of the 50 something generations, and let the 'rich' pay MORE for the studiously poor. Let Barhamacare be that vehicle which crushes all future interest in any socialist/communist experiments. Let Barhamacare be that vehicle which turns the tide in the 2014 elections and beyond It's time to move on as the libtards always want to do. Yup ! Time to defeat President know-nothing's immigration amnesty inclinations.
I agree with you Winston, but I fear that the Repub bozos in leadership (House and Senate) are trying to gracefully take deserved responsibility off of those demon rats and RINOs who just a few weeks ago let Senator Cruz stand alone when he tried to defund or delay Barhamacare. Libtards of all descriptions should be held responsible for this unconstitutional MONSTROSITY all the way to the 2014 mid-term elections,... and beyond. This is the time to push for change in the House and Senate. Change a conservative can believe in,... if you know what I mean. Tossiing 'life preservers' (amendments) to Barhama supporters is political suicide to our Country. Hold the line boys and girls ! Let the demoncrats and their RINO facilitators choke on their invention until they are run out of Washington. (Bye bye Ms. Landreiu. Bye bye Lindsley Grahamnasty. Bye bye big john Cornyn ! See ya'll down the road somewhere sometime.)

Tea Party at the Crossroads: Part II

• There is going to be a NEXUS early on in 2014 when the posturing RINOS and red state demon rats who are fleeing the sinking ship of Barhamacare collide with budgetary realities of the CR and the debt ceiling. Is it possible that we here on T H could agree that no bandaids should be applied to Barhamacare unless the debt ceiling can be held as it is, and that CRs should be replaced by an annual budget such as our Constitution requires ? This is very minimal, but very mandatory in my opinion. If RINOS help their demon rat allies escape from their collective responsibilities related to Barhamacare, then incumbents will have better outcomes during the mid-terms = demon rats and RINOs win, and conservatives loose >AGAIN.< If the line can be held against giving first aid bandaids to Barhamacare without some concessions from the demon rats, then the stage is set for big victories by conservatives in 2014. Can conservatives here on TH agree to this strategy and work for mid-term candidates who are conservatives,… TRUE CONSERVATIVES ? If conservatives cannot figure this out in time to win the 2014 mid-terms, then lots of debate about Christie this or Shrillary that is merely academic. Facts are facts: give true conservatives the choice between another RINO and a demon rat, as when Romney ran against Barhama, the demon rat will win,…. AGAIN, simply because as in 2012, 3 million conservative republicans refused to choose between the lesser of 2 evils, and sat home without voting, not to mention those others who wrote-in Ron Paul. These are the ugly FACTS from 2012. Nominate another Dole, Bush, McCain, or Christie, and we’ll have the 1st woman prez Shrillary. Think about it !

In the wake of Mr. Sowell’s Crossroads Part I & II, I am saddened that even he, a long-term pillar of conservative thinking, doesn’t understand what needs to be understood as we head into the mid-term elections. Still Tom, I am reluctant to hang the RINO label on you. I prefer to think that we here debating on TH have a difference of opinion about concepts like tactical v strategic or pragmatic v idealistic or social conservatives v fiscal conservatives, Cruz yes v Cruz no, and more such,…….. I urge the writers here who are interested in protecting our Constitution to consider some REALITIES: • Mid-term elections are won or lost to a large extent on superficial distractions, like who kissed the most babies or shook hands with the most superficial constituents, or passed out the most pork to those self-serving superficial constituents. No challenger can ever promise to pass out more pork in the future than a 3-term incumbent has previously passed out. This, for the most part, is what motivates the self-absorbed low information voters (LIVs) of today. Selfish American LIVs are guided by their own selfish pocket book issues. • Barhamacare is now publicly melting down is ways that even the LIVs can’t ignore. With each day comes a new revelation: can’t use the websites; little or no choice, cancelled existing policies; monthly rates for Barhamacare are NOT affordable; deductibles are HUGE; site security is non-existent etc. THESE ARE POCKET BOOK ISSUES THAT WILL NOT GO AWAY UNLESS BARHAMACARE IS REPEALED. • Mr. Sowell and others point out that Barhamacare (with all of its warts) is here to stay in one form or another. I would add: … it is here to stay in one form or another UNLESS and UNTIL the demon rats are defeated by Tea Party types. Re-electing (for example) Senators Cornyn or Grahamnasty will NOT get that job done. • Posturing RINOs (like Cornyn and Grahamnasty) and red state demon rats alike will try to use bandaids of any type to ‘fix’ the ‘problems’ and to snatch incumbent advantage from the jaws of incumbent defeats in the mid-terms. • There is an upcoming round of budget debate called a continuing resolution (CR), and maybe, another round of debt ceiling increases will be debated about the same time. These are the same debates which resulted in Senator Cruz’s filibuster, the ‘shut down’, and the big fight between Tea Partiers and RINOS and demon rats over who lost the most political capital.

If you think like a Barhama apologist, and write like a Barhama apologist, you just might possibly be a Barhama apologist. You are right that I didn't vote for Senator Cruz, because I am not from Texas, but I did send him money during his primary against another apologist, and I SURE AM proud of him ! Very proud of him indeed. Which seems to be more than you have said about Senator Cruz so far on T H. So get with it pardner !.

MacQ, You're a disgusting apologist for Barhama and the socialist agenda he is promoting. You and others of your ilk make me sick. How is it possible that you could come from Texas ? Asked differently, why are you so against the foresight that Texas Senator Cruz showed, holding up Barhamacare before it got rooted into the fabric of American employers, medicine, and insurance companies ? I hope that you are happy with what Barhamacare doesn't provide because you richly deserve it, warts, excessive costs and all

I generally appreciate the writings of M. Sowell, but sorry Tom, this time I think that you are soft and squishy about what happened and what now needs to be done. I am not outing you are a RINO, like I have others, but this article is not being well received by a majority of your readers as a review of 200+ posts will show. This is not the time to get soft or squishy about the defense of this Country. The libtards of this land have declared war on everything Constitutional, important, and conservative. As Mark Levine states: we are currently living in a post-constitutional America. If things were as they should be, Barhama would already have been tried and convicted of high crimes and misdemeanors, impeached and thrown out of office. And then Uncle Joe would be our,......... OMG ! Horrors of horrors ! Uncle Joe would be WHAT ??????
