@Greg, what @wade is saying has it's base in the scriptures. But there are two sides to this. We are to love our enemies, extend the hand of love and to bless those that curse us and seek our destruction. At the same time we are to be salt and light to the world and there are many Proverbs and other scriptures that point to our duty as Christians to protect the poor and the innocent and those who cannot help themselves, and also not to stand idle against evil. I'm an Aussie, and it truly astonishes me to see how deceptive Obama has been about so so many aspects of his background and beliefs, and yet so many Americans are blind to the obvious conclusion that he has something (pretty big) to hide. Yes, but what about when minorities are holding the majority to ransom? Where's the democracy in that? You just had a judge throw out a ruling validated by 31 out of 31 states INCLUDING the very own state in which the judge was ruling - where's the democracy in that?
