Since I'm not a complete idiot, it only took 53 years for me to figure out that the 'TWO-PARTY' system is a scam. I just assumed, like most folks, that both parties were legit, representing just conservative and liberal values. Over the last half century I voted and voted (usually conservatively) and marveled at how little political headway was made in solving issues like homelessness, corporate control, inflation, etc...
