Why do you blame the tool rather than the person who used the tool to do harm. Should we also sue hammer manufacturers, auto manufacturers and baseball bat manufacturers? All three of those examples account for more murders of all long rifles in America. Where does it stop before we actually blame the person that does harm rather than the object he uses? Background checks solves nothing. None of the mass killers recently had anything on their records that would have precluded them from owning a weapon. The only reason for expanding background checks is to develop a ownership database so the government knows who has them and where they are for future confiscation.
Interesting to note that the Aurora murderer had his apartment rigged with explosive (IED's) with the intent to kill as many police officers as possible as he knew his apartment would be searched. So if he didn't have an AR15, you think he might have just dumped a few of those pipe bombs in the theater? Maybe we would then be talking about ammonia fertilizer again like we did after Oklahoma...
Glad to see someone else is talking about this. It seems no one is interested in finding out why our young people are doing such crazy things. Couldn't possibly be because we are feeding them drugs that make them crazy...naw...
I would be proud to have Ted Nugent or Bocephus watching my back. With Carrey, I would feel the need for a butt plate...
We don't have to go that far to see the results of removing weapons and institutionalizing a citizen group of people. Just go to your nearest Indian Reservation. We disarmed them and promised to take care of them the rest of their lives. Take a look, see if they seem "taken care of" to you...

Not being pessimistic, but a realist, anyone that thinks DiFi's bill is dead had better think again. This was merely a move by Harry Reid to give him cover for his NRA A rating and all the funding that is associated with it. There are other bills that, for some reason, have slipped under the radar by Schumer, Durban, and others that will ultimately serve the same purpose. Keep awake, Keep your powder dry. Make sure your Senators and Congressman knows you by name...
We are now seeing classes dressing our jr. High students in burka's, teaching that the Original Tea Party participants were terrorist and other such information manipulation. Right now Sen David Simpson in the Tx Legislature is filing bills to correct some of this, but be aware, Common Core is not the only problem. They are attacking the education system from every front and will try their hardest to indoctrinate you children. For those that think it's only public schools....it's NOT!
It's true that Texas opted not to adopt the Common Core Curriculum. The Tx Education Commission saw the trap the Govt was setting with little funding to set the hook, and lowering the education subset standards to the lowest common denominator. What has happened though, by rejecting the stimulus funds, a Tx court ruled that individual school districts could opt in to the funding, which also had a mandate. This as come in the form of Common Core's twin sister C-Scope. This is an organization that sold itself the same way as CCC and took State funds, formed a Corporation so it could claim immunity from FOIA requests, and locked out the Tx Education Commission.
Add to that, if you analyze the actual bills passed for both Afghanistan and Iraq wars, there was soooo much pork in forms of pay-off to get Democrats to vote for it, that the cost could very well be half of what was spent.

What happened to the Candidate Obama that was saying the Bush Debt was Unpatriotic? Does he really think no one heard him?
PPACA did originate in the House. An original House bill was amended first to strike all original text, then to include the PPACA. It's not an original move, done many times. Our Congress has found ways around just about every part of the Constitution and we sit and watch... popcorn
