That's absolutely correct. The fed tried their bullying and intimidation against Sheriff Joe Arpaio here in Maricopa County, AZ and they found out the hard way he doesn't work for them nor do they scare him.

Thank God most of our elected Sheriffs are patriotic Americans who see their primary job as law enforcement officers is to uphold the laws of our nation and states and to protect the Constitutions of the United States of American and their individual states.
