We conservatives need to organize and unite inside a political party -- and the best one for our purposes is the Republican Party. The Republican Party is weakest where it ought to be strongest: at the precinct level. And that's a huge opportunity for conservatives. About half of the Republican Party precinct committeeman slots across America are vacant. The Party has about 400,000 precinct committeeman slots and about 200,000 are vacant. The filled slots are split about 50-50 between moderates and conservatives. Do the math. If we conservatives filled up all of the vacancies, that ratio goes to 75-25 in favor of conservatives. Obama won't yield and conservative Republicans need to MAKE him yield. We can't do that with a Party that's at half strength at the grass roots and ideologically split between RINOs and conservatives. Want to "do something" about that? Want to actually "get involved?" Then become a "card carrying member" of the Republican Party -- a precinct committeeman. You said, "What was best about the Honor rally was also what made it incomplete. It was great civics, but it only went so far. Where do we go from here? Back to our churches, this was clear, and back to our political engagement, too." Most people who want to "do something" politically don't have, unfortunately, basic knowledge of civics. They have also lost, or were never introduced to, the concept of civic duty. I had the benefit of a full semester class on American Civics back in 7th grade in the late 1960s. If you only have two hours a month to devote to taking back this country, I believe the BEST POSSIBLE use of your time is to become a Republican Party precinct committeeman. Half of the slots in the Party, on average, in...

There is a peaceful solution. It will require conservative, Constitution-loving and respecting Americans to retake the Republican Party (the opposition Party with the best chance to thwart the Democrat Party) and replace its current leadership with conservativs and make sure conservatives win the Republican primary elections. Jim Condit has a short video, “The Strangest Political Secret,” that explains this:

Here’s an example of the kind of thing conservatives nationwide could be doing to ALL of the elected public servants. Watch the congress-critter Tim Bishop sputter and try to spew BS without success. There is no reason why this can’t be duplicated in every congressional district — we have...

a precinct committeeman.

PCs vote for the leadership. It doesn't take much time. Half the slots nationwide were vacant in the Republican Party in 2008.

Deadlines are fast approaching in some states. Every state has a different system.

And the "powers that be," even the conservatives, FEAR telling you about this. Mum's the word -- the status quo ensures there reelection; a conservative resurgence back home in the Party PC ranks might mean a better conservative would defeat them in the primary.
