Back in the 1990s, I went on a British run tour that involved riding in a British transport truck from Belgium to Egypt. The truck drove thru Turkey, Syria and Jordan on its way to Egypt. The 9 week long trip cost $900 because it involved only tent camping and cooking your own food. I was the lone American. Everyone else was from England, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. I didn't encounter any problems with the Syrian people. They were very friendly and did not speak ill of America at all. I heard plenty of antiAmericanisms from the western Europeans.

"They don't make any distinctions about America."

No, I'm pretty sure they do. That's most likely why they were throwing rocks at your truck.

The Palestinians were the only unfriendly Arabs that I encountered. Jordan is loaded with them. They would throw rocks at our truck while screaming insults about the west. They didn't make any distinctions about America. The Palestinians hate ANYBODY who is not an Arab. They don't care if you are an American, British, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, Chilean, Cherokee, whatever. If you are not an Arab, the Palestinians despise you.

Last night on Hannity, I debated President of the America Together Foundation Michael Ghouse on the crisis between Israel and Hamas. At one point in the segment, Ghouse argued Hamas, a terrorist organization, has a right to exist.

Today, Israel dropped a message in Gaza warning civilians about an imminent strike and urged them to temporarily evacuate their homes.
