Nobody is advocating men and women are interchangeable. Using the "all things being equal" argument is a meaningless one. We don't live in a world where that exists. If you really believe that the building block of our society is in jeopardy then maybe we should be looking to prevent people like Rush, Larry King, Bill Clinton, John Edwards, Brittany Spears, Sanford, Newt, yourself, etc, etc, etc from being allowed to remarry. Because, lets face it, all things being equal, growing up under the same roof with your biological parents is better than splitting weekends with mom and dad. these people are clear examples of those who are not safeguarding that building block and are adversely affecting our society.

If this were the 1950's, you'd be arguing why desegregation is a violation of our constitution and not what the founding father's intended!!
