My own impression from talking to my Polish friends, and yes some of them are Jewish, is that Poland's approval rating of BHO's foreign policy parallels that of NY-9.

MM goes to the movies a lot, and I value his reviews. Politically or more to the point, practically, he fails to listen to those with whom he may disagree. He belittles the tea party and questions the rationale of those who opposed this "deal" and also rejects the arguments of those tea party ( which it is not) who voted and stated their reasons for the opposition. It would be indeed fair and balanced if he stated the 2 opposing views and then avered as to why he chooses this or that view point. I think he is befuddled.

From my point of view the flaw in your commentary Mr. Medved is that you don't specify who is to be the judge of what " ... no Tea Party activist ever explained how a debt-ceiling showdown, with a partial government shutdown that would surely follow, could possibly last more than a few days—or probably a few hours." In other words it is only a (your) personal opinion and even though it may appear to be part of the majority opinion for now, it certainly does not mean that it is the correct decision and that the decision of which you are critical would not have been better for our country. Of course, time will tell but then and when the nation is on its knees, your only option will be to say, humbly: "I was wrong" and drink your Kool-Aid.

The only reason the present administration as well as the nominee for IMF says that not raising the debt limit will be "catastrophic" for the West is because failure to raise the debt limit will be lethal to the socialist/marxist movement. This will ensure their longevity in power.

Could it be, that now that all of the principals with knowledge of his birth are no longer living (except BHO II, of course) then it is safe to confront those who question his birth specifics because there is noone around (grandmother) who could in a moment of weakness tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? I must admit I watch entirely too many Masterpiece Theater Conspiracy Shows to which I am obviously addicted. I have to quit and swith to FOX or return to watching movies about Hitler, Kennedy, Lincoln, Stalin, Clintons Conspiracy theories. :-)

I think you should get your NY Times Atlas out and review your geography and in the process you might learn about your own position on the globe.
Here are some sample definitions from the online dictionary of the term "horde:"
"1. a large group, multitude, number, etc.; a mass or crowd: a horde of tourists.
2. a tribe or troop of Asian nomads.
3. any nomadic group."

"
A nomadic Mongol tribe.
A nomadic tribe or group."

Poland does not fit any of these categories.
The French and Germans historically did not consider Poland as part of the "horde."

Be careful what you wish for.
Poland in my opinion is more fearful of the Russian hordes, think Katyn forest massacre,
then of any Islamic horde.
It would be ironic if instead of US missiles on Polish territory they ended up with either Iranian or Turkish missiles as a defense against
the Russian "hordes."
