Chevy Volt Follows Stupid 2012 with Stupider 2013

That was around the time GM should have gone bankrupt, if memory serves, for being stupid in it's relation to the union. Accumulating legacy costs far beyond what they can ever pay out. Now, owing their continued existence to a government bailout, they have to satisfy the king. You knucklehead. Your idiocy is mind-boggling. Your intellect is worthless.

If GM had gone bankrupt, a million people would have been out of work and the government would have had to bail people out with unemployment and social services. So saving GM made economic sense. Plus the infrastructure to design and build cars on a world-competitive scale would have been lost. Perhaps you'd prefer everyone sit at home in their underwear while Japan and China control all manufacturing. No wait, you'd rather Americans just work for $8/hour, and supplement their wages with night jobs at Wal Mart.

Let me guess. You're from the anti-labor South?

After a year that can only be described as “stupid,” the Chevy Volt is gearing up to make 2013 even stupider still.

I know, I know.

You find it hard to believe that a mostly-owned subsidiary of the United States government and the Obama administration- like GM is- could get any stupider than say Fannie Mae, or Federal Reserve Bank.

Yes, that’s tough competition, but in the “idiocy” category GM seems to be the ruling champion.

Not only have they lost substantial amounts of taxpayer dollars, they have managed to do it while generating record profits...
