MSNBC: Hamas Rockets Actually Don't Do That Much Damage You Know

She didn't say "rockets don't do any damage". She said "what would you say to THOSE who argue that the rockets are essentially very ineffective, they rarely do damage and that the response from Israelis is disproportional to the threat they’re under.” I'm not a MSNBC fan. You couldn't pay me to watch it, but she didn't say anything outrageous. Don't make put words in her mouth.

Yeah,I guess in your book,it's OK if only a FEW Israelis get maimed or killed by blast or shrapnel,or just a few of their homes wrecked. Or that they have to run for bomb shelters every couple of hours. You're too dumb to realize that the next incoming rocket could have a chemical warhead full of poison.

Weapons-Grade Stupid.

FP, you really don't understand subtlety, do you?

How would you like a ineffective rocket in your backyard?

She spoke the way she did to erect the impression that OTHERS might be saying that--when in fact, she believes it but won't admit it. They do this all the time.

When a TV "journalist" utters the phrase, "Some might say...", they are telling you what THEY think.

Let's drop a few rockets in your yard and ssee how you feel.

Over the weekend in an interview with Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren, MSNBC host Mara Schiavocampo suggested rocket attacks "rarely do damage" as Israel continues to be under siege from Hamas militants and as millions of Israelis are camped out in bomb shelters.

“Living under the threat of rocket attack is certainly a psychological trauma. But what would you say to those who argue that the rockets are essentially very ineffective, they rarely do damage and that the response from Israelis is disproportional to the threat they’re under.”
