Bob, I agree with you about Patient centered care. But you did not really state a "Plan" in your remarks or your "Return to Values" article. We need the GOP and Conservatives to agree to a plan and simply state the simple items over and over that is in their plan. ie; Law to cross state lines by all insurance companies, Law to stop the use of Pre-existing conditions. Carry policy from one job to another if so desired by the user, Plain and simple list of premiums, deductibles, co-pays, exemptions if any. and so on. Clear and simple.

Thanks Jonah, once again you tell it like it is. I been around a long time and I really find myself wishing for the old days. The 40's and 50's, and for a while afterwards before it started down this long wet slide. I cannot understand how the GOP from those days, and even most DEMs have allowed themselves to get to such a sorry state. The whole DC machine needs a complete rebuild from the ground up. Dump all of it. They are now just a bunch of fat cats looking to their own personal gains and have forgotten they are PUBLIC servants. Dump all the Departments, all the regulations imposed and pick up from when Eisenhower left office without the U S of A owing a penny to anybody, and do a RESTART. I just wish too much I guess.
Back in the 50's it wold have been a two liner in on page 9, and the alert citizen crime stopper would have gotten lots of free drinks from his friends. End of story......
Great insight, scary though.
Thank John, it's just what I said to anybody that would listen that Carney was just mouthing words when he said that only 5 percent were losing their ins. Really Jay, how about 50 to 70 percent come next year. The insurance companies are preparing the millions of mailings as I type. 80 plus millions of company and corporations employees are going to get hit hard next year. Don't even mention small companies. Hoffa is gonna dirty his pants when all those union employees scream at him. Then he will scream at POTUS. All is going to down the drain.

Just wait untill all the companies, corporations, and the Hoffa unions get the cancellations and policy premium increases, and increased deductibles this time next fall. Half will lose insurance, the other half will pay a lot more. The proverbial s*it will hit the fan bigtime.

12 Unspoken Rules For Being A Liberal

Darn fine set of rules John. Is there maybe a way to turn them upside down, inside out, and completely the opposite and make them a 12 step program on how to be a conservative. Then tell, convince, or fool the libs to jump on it?

Carbon Dioxide: The Gas of Life

Thanks for the article Paul. It reminded me of the information I learned in High School Biology in the 50's. We were taught how important CO2 was to plants of all types. More our Teacher reminded us that all the CO2 created as a by-product of mankind and our industrialization. It seems at that time it was considered a good thing. What makes me mad is there are much worse Greenhouse gases than CO2. If Global Warming is considered such a problem by the Warmies Alarmists, then that is what should be looked into, Not CO2. But we both know the whole deal is not Global Warming, but another BIG money making SCAM, and Gore surely got his part! His many homes, SUV's, Jet plane, and none are GREEN. More he got REVENGE for not getting Elected!

Good article John, but you forgot the price of electricity is going up if the coal plants close and POTUS gets his way with shutting down natural gas plants by stopping drilling, fracking, etcetera. The way I see it, electricity cost could easily double. Worse case is, will the grid even remain up during high demand?

I agree David. We, Republicans, Conservatives, Tea Partiers, etc. did not do our job. We allowed the President and the Progressive Liberal Democrats to demonize us for over four years, yet the people suffer more from the actions of the Liberal President and his party by far than all of us on the other side. Still we don't stand up and call it like it is just as loud and calous as them. We have gotten quiet, easygoing and soft this last 20 years. Being reasonable in todays political world is not going to work anymore. Too many dumbed down uninformed in our modern society to get it without shouting in their face. FL
