Good news for Obama as it puts yet another layer between him and responsibility for the problem. Very clever! Wonder if he knows he already has an Ebola Czar just tailor made to tie the can to: http://thefederalist.com/2014/10/14/president-obama-already-has-an-ebola-czar-where-is-she/#.VD00GzVpH9w.facebook

Goodbye, Columbus

What if Columbus and the conquistadors had been nice guys --- maybe as humane as the French according one commenter? Well, 80+% of the natives would have died of disease. Native civilization and culture would have collapsed. Needing a workforce, the westerners would have imported slaves purchased from African and Arab slave traders. etc. etc. In short, not much different from what did happen.
I'd like to see people coming from Ebola countries diverted to Falluja or Mosul thus protecting us and wiping out ISIS ...
I resent this labeling of our President's policy as "slapdash"! Sure, maybe he waited too long before deciding to act. Ok, so the administration won't call it a war because that would run counter to the image of being the President who ends wars and not who starts wars. And, yeah, maybe the White House can't actually define what it means by victory when asked. Stop being trapped by out of date language! Refer to this thing for what it is: a "kinetic befuddlement"!
Since Gruber said it on several occasions it can't be a "speak-o"; perhaps serial brain-farts?
"The U.S. Army tweeted out their names and ranks during the official White House ceremony." This is satire, isn't it?
I LOVE the Russians. Great job on Olympics (anything that tortures journalists is wonderful) and sound position on gays ... What's to dislike about them?
Looking very much like the Republicans in the House were right in trying to save us from this abortion!
This is just so wrong! He's just following standard Democrat practice and it is unjust to single him out for punishment!
Syria, a sovereign nation, did not sign the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1996.  The present conflict affects only Syrians.  This conflict is not an international dispute; it's a civil war initiated by insurgents and fought entirely in Syria.
