Great points however we just heard from Fidel Obama at his inauguration that the most pressing issues he'll confront are gay rights, immigration reform, gun control, and climate change. In a brief mention he insinuated it's health care costs that are causing deficits not his leviathan government. So there is no hope that the change you suggest will occur but rather, the storm surge of government will build the next four years. Pray for your children's future.

Yes, the President’s speech indicates that the current economy is already the new normal, phase one is complete. His stated goals of education reform, heath care and climate are all beyond the reach and abilities of the federal government, therefore guaranteeing federal expansion forever as government pursues solutions that are always out of reach. I can just hear the Republican establishment cheering as he provides cover for their incompetence and helps them further paint the TEA party as out of touch radicals.

There's a super storm raging over our economy that's been seeded and fueled by the federal government over a period of the past several decades. And it's literally costing the country trillions of dollars in GDP per year.
It’s not merely garden-variety government waste that's the problem either. It's monumental stupidity by the government, combined with venial cupidity by voters who think they can get others to pay for their free lunch.
