My Constitutional rights are not up for debate, or for a deal. If you want to change the second amendment there is an amendment process. Do that or suffer the consequences of illegitimate government.

We are already suffering the consequences of illegitimate government. Three-fourths of the federal budget is unconstitutional.

Dude, background checks don't violate the constitution. Settle down.

its called the elastic clause and is part of the constitution. it allows congress to basically pass any law it wants. the COTUS doesnt mention the air force but we got one,,nor does it mention the USMC,,but we got one of them too.

Frank, what does "Uninfringed" mean to you?

Freedom comes with a price! If these moron politicians would stop legislating us into a mental breakdown and create an environment where we could pursue happiness then you may have a point!

Any time anyone confronts my liberty I get aggressive and will intimidate them into submission! You can kill all the babies you want but mess with my 2nd Amendment rights and I will unleash it on you now! The seals ain't got nothing on me!

Personal responsibility starts with you. If you know those around you yo can take care of that situation and make sure no one goes Postal! We don;t relate like previous generations! But, that doesn't mean we let some isolated and insulated moron politicians tell us...

Friend, you're an idiot. The SC has already ruled that some restrictions are fine. You're definitely no constitutional authority, so settle down.

Has anyone, in the history of the world, actually settled down when told by another? I would argue NO.

I forgot to ask, are YOU a constitutional authority, F1? Somehow, I doubt it; or maybe you are one like the prez claims to be.

Firearms purchases at guns shows, on the internet or “any circumstance involving paid advertising” would be subject to background checks but there would be important exemptions, such as temporary transfers and between close relatives.

“Under the terms of the Manchin-Toomey deal all background checks would be conducted by federally licensed gun firearm dealers, who would need to verify the validity of a purchaser’s gun license and record that a check was performed. Background checks would need to be completed within three...
