BINGO! Rubio holds the keys to this brilliant idea. This is his last exit ramp from the Senate immigration fiasco, too.
Sen. Rubio has a story @ rubio.senate.gov that praises the passage of Sen. Grassley's gutted version of his border security amendment. The one that grants Sec. Napolitano to power to deem all sectors of the border secured in order to greenlight amnesty. Truly sickening propaganda. The worst part is Rubio's description of the Gang's bill as an "excellent starting point." It's a statement that would allow him to praise whitewashing amendments such as the gutted version of Grassley's. And, a statement that will likely prevent him from being able to side with the inevitable push in the House to fix major problems with the bill. Sen. Rand Paul has compared the bill to Obamacare. It will prove to be a great comparison, because Sen. Rubio will be humiliated during the implementation phase. How will he explain Sec. Napolitano's inaction on enforcement provisions as he seeks the nomination in 2015 and 2016? He won't have a good explanation. He could, however, move laterally and take Charlie Crist's job at Morgan and Morgan. Google Morgan and Morgan. They're "For the People."

Well said. With this story, maybe the union official representing Border Patrol/ICE agents will be included in the immigration reform hearings. So far, he has been locked out. Believe he would provide similar jaw-dropping information that rubber-stamping DHS bureaucrats want to gloss over. Secure the nation first before carelessly regularizing more people.

Uh-oh. Dead Terrorist #1 could have been deported in 2009: http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2013/04/boston-bomber-could-have-been-deported-after-2009-conviction/

I feel for fellow Americans in Boston today. Especially since they are so poorly armed, and the average resident there is likely unarmed. Sitting ducks with a jihadist on the loose.

Your side has Biden, the expert at home defense. "Grab your shotgun and unload it erratically from your front porch." Let Biden loose in Watertown. Uh-oh, he shot his wad already and is unarmed.

TEA_CRACKER would be comfortable among the unarmed, liberal masses in Boston. An idiot liberal with no understanding of reality. Unarmed citizens there are hoping against hope that the jihadist doesn't bust in through a window and take them hostage. Maybe they can defend themselves with shoes and frying pans until the police respond. Turns out, an AR-15 is superior to a shoe in defending oneself against a terrorist.

Bet it's crossing a lot of liberal Boston residents' minds during this siege. City full of liberals reaching for guns that aren't in their homes. Oops. Just as there are no atheists in a foxhole, nor are there many anti-gun residents in Boston today.

It's been asked millions of times since Sandy Hook, "What average citizen needs for an AR-15?" Answer: Law-abiding Boston residents, with an imminent need to defend themselves against a jihadist who could break in through a window at any moment now. Or, would they prefer being limited to 7 rounds in a handgun, possibly a dinky .22?
