Why The Hell Should Anyone Vote For The Republican Party?

Over the weekend on Hannity, Ben Carson said he was ready for the attacks from the left since he has no skeletons in his closet. I think the Republican leaders today are too comfortable in their positions to risk having their skeletons exposed by rocking the boat. Of course, that means they are putting self interest ahead of the country which is typical of today's culture. We need more like Ben Carson.

I'm inclined to agree that may be a factor in many cases. We know the pop media would crucify anyone opposing the Left over things they'd keep quiet about among their own.

I think in far too many cases it's not so much this kind of quiet blackmail as just careerism & complacency, the desire to go along & get along, don't rock the boat & get nice pork to take home as a reward, & enjoy the sinecure and perks & be invited to all the right parties.
