Return of the Minivan?

The problem is not with the minivan, although they are soul-kiling vehicles. The problem is with the people driving them--or sitting behind the wheel while the van is (sometimes) in motion (although usually too slowly, and nearly always in the left lane). A saying from the Muscle Car days of the late 60's/early 70's is apt--"Ban low performance drivers, not high performance cars."
Anyone who watches Glenn Beck should be fully aware of those would like to destroy us...
A natural born citizen is NOT someone for whom both parents are/were citizens--it's someone who is a citizen from/by birth. So, Obama is indeed a natural born citizen of the US.
The Republican aren't "reciting" the Constitution, they're reading it aloud. You could use up an entire day correcting all the errors in the headlines on TH.
Skyputz--you're proving my point by demonstrating that you don't understand what Obama is "heir to" in Chicago. And by labeling anyone from Chicago you don't like as a "thug"--of those from Chicago in his inner circle, only Rahm would qualify as a "thug"--Jarrett, Axelrod, William Daley--not at all.
To borrow from another thread, the biggest lie of both 2009 and 2010 is that Obama is in any way a part of the "Chicago Machine." He's never been a part of it, he actually ran against it in the one race he lost, and he's taken reasonable care to stay apart from it. His biggest support and funding in Chicago comes from some of the Black leadership such as Valerie Jarrett and John Rodgers (Ariel Capital Management) who aren't in any way, shape, or form part of the "Chicago Machine." There is very little if anything to like about the Daley Machine in Chicago, but Obama is apart from it. I know it's too convenient to try to lump him together with it as an attempt to smear him and in service of that goal far too many people have been too...
The headline for this story on the TH homepage is inaccurate--it says "NYT favors censorship of children's classic" and that's not true. In fact, there's an editorial in today's Times denouncing the changing of Twain's language in Huck Finn. Nicholas Kristof may be in favor of allowing the change because he thinks it may allow for more people to read it, but that's not even censorship. Why the eagerness to say things that aren't true?
Just so you know, the obsession with appearance is the total foundation for the appeal of Sarah Palin, so it's you guys who are obsessed with looks. If you support Allen West for President, you're going to be even more disappointed than those who support Bachman.
Not only is she not that good looking in the absolute--but no one could ever be good enough looking to compensate for that much crazy.
I read an article about new PA Senator Toomy, who at least is wise enough to grasp, as you clearly are not, that while he won election in Nov, he was opposed by 49% of the voters in his state. So, while he won, he didn't "grease" anyone...
