I've listend to Rush for many years. At first, in the 90's, I thought that he was racist. He insulted my peoples "blackness". So he must have insulted me too. Today, I realize that his statements were raceless! That's what was so insulting at the time. Rush didn't recognized the "black" race and it offended me. Now, I'm no longer a "Black American" or an "African American". I am an AMERICAN. That's how Rush has been treating us all along; Not by the color of our skin but by the content of our character!

But don't feel bad, there are many out there like you so your are not alone. There is no such thing as the "white race". Don't feel bad, I also think that the idea of the "black race" is detrimental to society. We in the U.S. created races and intentionally racism.

Prior to the Slave Trade in the U.S. the color of ones skin was not a determinate of inferiority or superiority. It was just a pigmentation.

We attached a value to the pigmentation and inturn created racism.

The only 2 colors left in society today are black and white. Once we get rid of any value attached to those colors, we'll have a colorblind society.

By the way, my pigmentation is dark.

I was 14 years old when I began speaking what I call "The Language of Racism tm" (don't bother, I already trademaked it!). That was the year I found out that there was a difference between black and white. My foudation had already been set so to me, the difference was strange. Racism only exists as long as we continue to speak the language of it. The goal should not be anti-racism nor diversity. The gols should be Anti-Race. Therefore eliminating the Language of Racism!!
