Based on what Bill Ayers was guilty of committing, would he currently be considered an unlawful combatant, or would he have had to carry out his actions on foreign soil? Would he be ripe for assassination? Just asking the question, but it is relevent.

He would be considered a "domestic terrorist", not necessarily engaged in military operations.
