IMO, we can form this party or that partyand it will not matter. The country is lost. The last 60 yrs of dumbing down in the marxist unions controlled public schools and then unto further radical(communist) indoctrinations in the univers where by the way, even ignorant fools can get in, paid for by guvmint grants. Of course. When over 1/2 the population is indoctrinated into class warfare/envy and parasites that lives off the taxpayers have the same vote (many tiimes more than 1) as the producers, it does not matter about parties. We have moved to a plurality of morons nation

Totally agree! It will take another revolution 50 years from now to resurrect our country.

All that still doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
The beginning of a new year is often a time to look forward and look back. The way the future looks, I prefer to look back -- and depend on my advanced age to spare me from having to deal with too much of the future.

If there are any awards to be given to anyone for what they did in 2012, one of those rewards should be for prophecy, if only because prophecies that turn out to be right are so rare.

With that in mind, my choice for the prediction of the year award goes to Bret Stephens of the Wall...
