Most blogs don't seem to understand history - the Congress was a white caucus, and the Senate still is. So minorities have little chance being heard over the white majority - and in the Senate we are talking about whites with property and wealth. Hence the need for minority caucuses to get the minority view some public space. Is it needed? apparently - the relief staff made mention of was all white but for one member. Sounds like white affirmative action to me. Aren't we supposed to be against affirmative action regardless of color, or is just affirmative action for blacks?
