Presidential Priorities: 2016 Olympics

Chicagoans originally supported the Games in Chicago:

The public began to realize that the odds of increasing taxes to cover the cost of the Games were practically 100%. Polls then slipped:

Sounds like ObamaCare, no? And just like ObamaCare, our President's meddling will jam something down the throat of taxpayers they really don't...

A very interesting metric for all of us to follow is the number of Dem retirements. When you see Dems from reliably Repub districts retire, that's one thing. But keep an eye on Dems from marginally Repub districts and those from slightly Dem districts. If we see them bail, the Repubs will take over the House.

For at least 6 months, I have been predicting a Repub. pick-up of 56 House seats and 6 Senate seats.

This number is not too bad. It's only about one-third of her monthly Botox charges.

Assume for a moment the Obama Administration had the shape of the chart correct for the unemployment rate correct. Applying that shape to the current data, one can project that the unemployment rate will peak at around 11%, sometime in the third quarter of 2010. If this is the case, I predict the Democrats will lose 56 House and 6 Senate seats in the 2010 elections.

... at knowing which way the political winds are blowing. That explains his switch to the Democrats then, and explains his pining to be a Republican now. If you had any doubts about the upcoming Republican takeover of the Congress, Arlen should help you erase them.
Criticizing a person for a typographical error is just plain stupid. What are we to make of your lack of capitalization? Based on the quality of your replies, I would guess you are not much of a believer in private capital...
In addition to cutting your AARP, demand that they refund a pro rated portion of your dues. Hit 'em where it hurts, the pocketbook.
It is a pity that this tournament, for which these girls probably held fundraisers and car washes all year, will be unable to attend. I'm betting that these administrators will soon be on O'Reilly's "Pinheads and Patriots" segment, I'll let you guess which one they are.
