Blockading with Trade Restrictions

There is something being missed here. The US has trade policies that virtually invite foriegn competition and relocation of industries overseas. For instance, the Chinese have import duties of 40% - 60% on American made imports while The US has import duties ranging between 5% and 6%. With an already lower labor cost, it sets the US producer up in an uncompetitive situation especially with companies like WalMart dominating the retail sector. Walmart simply looks for a lower price in a comparable product. This is driving entire industries and associated industries from our shores and is limiting our markets over seas. This results in rapidly increasing unemployment rates as we are seeing now and the fewer jobs means less...

Elder Abuse: America's Dirty Secret

This Point Cuts Both Ways

It seems that when the subject of circumcision comes up, everyone has vast knowledge. What they have is a long list of myths:

David H: The biblical Covenant of Circumcision appears to be an invention added to Genesis about 550 BC. The original manuscripts show no evidence of any covenant. If male circumcision held any promise of preventing HIV/AIDS, the disease would be conspicuously absent from The US. Compare the effect of the polio vaccines that had only a 70% effectiveness and it will become clear male circumcision has no protective effect. The current infant circumcision rate is less than 56%. It was once near 92% and only started falling in the late 1990’s probably because of the information available on the...
