The GOP Establishment Should Think Twice Before Trying to Undermine the Tea Party

More & more the GOP is looking like (as a Democrat would say) the Party of Stupid. Does the GOP want to commit political suicide by getting rid of the Tea Party? They turned off many Tea Party people by nominating RINO Romney who then even couldn't beat probably the worst President this nation ever had (& who is probably not qualified Constitutionally for office). Most likely the GOP is so corrupt it cannot be transformed into a small government, Constitution-loving Party & the Tea Party supporters should begin to seriously think of leaving en mass for a 3rd Party. As a grass roots organization that is fairly leaderless, I'm not sure of the best way the Tea Party can distance themselves from the Establishment GOP, the Party of Stupid.

Even though it changed the terms of the political debate, thus giving them a majority in the 2010 elections, many in the Republican establishment deeply resent the Tea Party. They don’t like being monitored by taxpayer-friendly groups that will expose them when they side with special interests (as they have in recent months on Export-Import Bank subsides and housing handouts).

And they really hate the idea of being held accountable at the polls when they side with the corrupt...
