"Higher Taxes Mean Bigger Government, not Lower Deficits" -Exactly. But maybe we should let the Democrats get everything they want and when the US economy implodes & the US Dollar becomes worthless, American voters can blame the Democrats for all the disasters with out-of-control big government & deficit spending.

Get back in the ring and fight . If you lose the fight you lose forever. Even Russia has not recovered from communism even if they say its over. The EU is going down the tubes and will soon turn to communism again . Same for the USA if you jump out of the ring and say OK your way.

The problem is the GOP does not stand for small, Constitutional government & a balanced budget either. You can call the Democrats the "tax & spend" big government Party, but you can also call the Republicans the "don't tax & spend" big government Party. They both, in the end, support big government! Only Ronald Reagan pushed for smaller government in my lifetime. All the rest of the Republicans pushed for bigger government. That's why the GOP needs to reform or die & be replaced by a 3rd Party.

President Obama and other statists in Washington want a big class-warfare tax hike. They claim the additional revenue is necessary to reduce red ink.

But their ideological crusade is based on some blatant distortions.
