Solution for taxing the rich. A 90 percent tax on all political contributions. It is a fair tax because it is a voluntary tax. It also helps remove the corruption from campaign financing. Solution for residential real estate crisis. The homeowner gives a deed in lieu of foreclosure and becomes a tenant for three years at 1 percent of the loan amount plus taxes and insurance. This saves the investor $60,000 in legal fees and gives a secure 1 percent return on their money. This will stabilize the real estate market and a large part of the economy. This is my simplified version should anyone want more information I am open for discussion.

I don't like a 90% tax on anyone for anything because the money goes to the federal government. Obama is using federal tax money to fund his campaign trips...AF 1 & 2 don't fly for free.

The problem with all taxes is they tend to grow the government. You will never be able to feed the beast enough to satisfy it. There will always be wasteful spending but the spending habits of the Negro in the WH is beyond anything this nation has ever seen. Our taxes are funding, not just his reelection attempt, but the programs he plans to use to redistribute the peoples' wealth.

I don't see how a 90% tax on political contributions "helps remove the corruption from campaign financing".

a tax on free speech? political contributions ARE "free speech".
and it would not remove the corruption from campaign financing.
the corruption stems from the politicians.

Sorry,NO way.
Term limits is the answer to that. don't leave a pol in office long enough for it to be a "career".
and they won't be in long enough to get corrupt,or have much influence to peddle.

Yes, great idea;let's cut campeign contributions out and then we can all depend on the MSM to give us all the information we need to know about candidates and their policies.

The solution for the real estate crisis is to foreclose on the houses and let the lenders resell them at a market-clearing price. Had we done that five years ago, this would have all been behind us now. Of course, if the government hadn't demanded that the banks make loans to the underpriviledged in the first place unless they wanted to be sued for discrimination, the problem would never have come up.

That is not what happened. That is the FAUX-approved version. Read Sowell's Book "The Housing Boom and Bust".

Good solution. The only reason Obama didn't want the banks to foreclose and resell them is the banks would suffer...and well they should...for their stupidity and greed. The destruction of the housing market and consequently the crash began on January 3, 2007 when the democrats took over the house and senate, Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 month later was in the Banking and Financial Services. 15 months prior to the meltdown, the DOW closed at 12,621.77, the GDP was 3.5%, the unemployment was 4.6% and Geo. Bush's economic policies set a record of 52 straight months of job growth. He warned the democrats17 times

A good idea. Three years might not be enough though.

What IS the Obama doctrine? Is there a stated goal at all? How can he be against "nation-building" and our “policing the world,” and then justify turning around and creating no fly zones and launching missiles into sovereign nations?

I have long been troubled by the parallel tactics between the radical Islamists and Marxist-Leninists. Several factors in common begin with the basic demand (actually faithful belief) that the world will ultimately go their way and that the US is the only thing standing in their way. When you add that the "dog-eating" President holds the similar third world view--that the US...
