The enforcement of the Constitution of the United States, according to a strict originalist-textualist standard, would put a halt to just about all this oppression at once. The problem? The enforcement of the Constitution upon the government is the duty of THE CITIZENRY, and there's only one way to do it: armed revolution. We've tried "voting the rascals out." All we've ever gotten is a new set of rascals -- sometimes a worse bunch. Does anyone have any other ideas?

There are only three options. Armed revolution, as you say; the ballot box, as you say; and ignoring the government outright.

None are easy. None are quick.

I periodically provide mind-blowing examples of individuals who have their lives turned upside down by evil bureaucrats.

You may think “evil” is too strong a word, but it sticks in my mind after perusing these examples of abusive actions by the federal government.
