Pastor Jackson talks about divisions in our nation, yet, when discussing the role of Christians in our natiion, he almost dismisses Catholics out of hand, emphasizing only evangelical churches as having a role in revitalizing our great nation. If Pastor Jackson feels that way, he will alienate almost 1/3 of the nation's Christians--unless, of course, he is one of those radicals who believe Catholics are not Christians?

Nation-building is a secondary issue to our primary mission there. If nation-building supports the primary policy, then we should provide the resources to effect mission accomplishment.
