Ideologue by whose standard? You need to look up the definition of Ideologue. Dr. Sowell clearly imbues his readers with rational thinking and sparks them with an objective dose of reality. I would hardly classify Dr. Sowell as an Ideologue. We all have ideals and does that make us all ideologues or just common? Dr. Sowell provides his readers with the ability to grasp the dynamic relationships of current events; always connecting the dot's where the dot's need be connected. I pity you completely that you have not been blessed with the ability to grasp that concept. I will assure you Dr. Sowell is no common man with the common thoughts of an ideologue.

Dr.Sowell, I have often wondered how much different this country would be if you, Dr. Sowell, were indeed our current president. If I was addicted to reading the clap-trap notions coming out of Washington as I am reading the rational thinking you pen in your commentary's; I 'm certain that I would feel far less pessimistic about the current state of politics. Todays American citizen, rather we are labeled conservative or liberal, can and will endure uncertain times, we always have and we always will; however, the American Citizen today is choking with total outrage and contempt on a great deal of the irrational mind sets in Washington that impose upon their contingency one set of rules for it's citizenry and one set of rules...
