Hush now, Dr. Sowell. What you say makes way too much sense to be possibly true. If some of us couldn't blame others of us for society's ills we would - well, just bust! It's not fair to hint that bad choices of a parent-person might have even worse effects on their child. That's simply too much responsibility for some of us to take on. How much better to blame it on a heartless, penny-pinching government? I think I'll turn on the TV now.
