After, having been absolutely stone cold, sober for the last 35 years and having walked with the Lord Jesus Christ, for the last 20 years, the most intelligent thing I can say is, heroine, on its way to morphine, has some practical medical applications (probably the number one painkiller for those in the throes of agonizing death) but as an item of psychic retreat, much less habituation, becomes an persuasive seduction of satanic consideration, leaving the most ardent sensualist with a climactic conclusion that literally takes one's breath away, forever. The subject of marijuana, once again, since it is within the cornucopia of God's creativity and availability, it would seem logical, that is useful benefit can be derived, then that benefit should be realized, but, the wisdom of continued personal, recreational purpose, much as with indulgences of alcohol, a very real question arises, what for, to alter one's state of mental being? Why? To alter perception, runaway from problems and predicaments, to stay within the shell of your own fantasy and isolation, to share the camaraderie, ever so fleeting and momentary, before becoming a isolated planet unto oneself, all these hypotheses, along with, no doubt, countless others, raises the question, what is so darn tough about sobriety! I have, in conclusion, one suggestion, which is for all who are willing to, by their own agency, the right to choose for themselves and keeping in mind the trials and errors of our temporal existence, to quote an old evangelical hymn, "Try a Little Walk with Jesus." I assure you, it is worth the effort!
