One author I know of, Robert Ringer, advises that the price of gold is a good lie detector for politicians. That is 110 percent true. If you think the lies are spewing now and likely to overrun in the future, buy more. If you trust these fools, then buy less. Easiest purchase in the world. But don't go crazy with it, stay rather diversified.

In the beginning, God created gold. And the free markets for them.

The creation of all gold- that which has come to symbolize money- was forged by nature out of a violent cataclysm of a stellar- and singular- magnitude, that was much bigger than a Facebook IPO.
