I know this comment is out of place but who wants a homework assignment this week ? your homework assignment will consist of watching CNN's coverage of the Democratic National Convention (mandatory). With pen and paper in hand you will document any time you here a half truth, a statement that cannot be proved or disapproved, a statement that was taken completely out of context or a flat out lie ! and which speaker said it each day of the Convention. That's a job. But I've been there and done that as a child growing up in a communist country. So I already have an idea of the kind of speeches that will be on Communist News Network. Having said it, I planb to miss most of them. Thanks a lot, but I pass.

Thanks but no thanks, I have enough with one giant ulcer they gave me so far. I don't feel the need to see a stadium full of those nut jobs ranting about the fabulous job our Devine Leader has done and how many jobs he has created apart from the beer brewers in his kitchen.
I will strongly admire anyone who can sit through such an agony and come out alive. He'll have the praise of every conservative in here I'm sure but I have work to do.

Remarkably, the MSM is showing more interest in Congressman Ryan's running than they did in all the racial epiphanies (and other autobiographical information) enumerated in the President's memoirs and accepted uncritically in 2008 -- which turned out to be false.  Remarkably, it took the press four years even to inquire.

Luckily for all of us, they're right on top of Paul Ryan's marathon time.  What a service to the...
