A Good Man -- and a Funny One!

Romney is a lot funnier than people think. He also is a genuinely good man. A lot of people that go up against him don't like him, though. I think much of it has to do with jealousy. He can dismantle arguments very well, has proven to be great at pretty much everything he's tried, has a beautiful family, and is very real. I don't think anyone thinks there are any skeletons in his closet. He's not perfect, none of us are, but he has lived a life of exemplary character. You can tell that he was very genuine in his comments about President Obama and his family. Very gracious.

Here is Mitt Romney, speaking last night at the Al Smith dinner in New York.  Most of it is very funny -- but watch also around the 8:40 mark. Governor Romney's comments about the President are genuinely gracious, and his remarks about the Catholic faith are moving (here is a transcript).

I would be proud -- and reassured -- to have a man with this kind of heart occupying The White House.
